Restored

Old things made new. I am guilty of throwing things away because they don’t look “new” anymore or because it doesn’t work like it use to. It’s much easier to just go buy a new one. Recently, I decided to paint an old piece of furniture. After cleaning it up, sanding it down & putting a little paint on it I could not believe how different it looked – it was like new, it had been reconditioned, refurbished, restored. It had new meaning, a new look and a new purpose. Sometimes, we just need a new outlook or a new vision in order to see the good in something (or someone, for that matter) that no longer has the luster it once did. So, I challenge you to find one thing in your home that you can “restore” & do it! Can’t wait to see what you come up with – you can post your pics here!
